About me
My name is Alexandru Bălbărău, and I am the founder of AB Law Office. I am the lawyer who can combine a thorough and continuous academic training with wide-ranging practical experience in order to identify the most effective and complete solutions for your specific legal circumstances.
Regarding the abovementioned academic training, I am a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Bucharest University, subsequently consolidating my knowledge through the master's program "Criminal Sciences" conducted within the same faculty, shortly after graduating and becoming a lawyer.
Subsequent to graduating from the Faculty of Law in 2016, I quickly became a member of the Bucharest Bar Association, after passing the admission examination held that year.
My first years of activity have been dedicated to the collaboration with the Romanian branch of one of the most prestigious international law firms, being involved in multiple important projects in various practice areas (commercial, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, IT and telecommunications, labor relations, civil litigation).
Subsequently, out of a desire to put more into practice the knowledge acquired in the field of criminal law, I oriented my professional activity towards this area of practice, providing legal assistance before criminal prosecution bodies and courts, both to companies and individuals, in criminal cases involving various accusations put forward by Romanian prosecutorial bodies, from crimes against property, tax evasion, corporate governance or corruption, to crimes against road safety or against individuals. During my practice within the criminal law field, I have often observed how experience acquired in other areas of law allowed me to take a multidisciplinary approach to the client's situation and led to the shaping of an integrated strategy, by anticipating all potentially relevant consequences, with echoes beyond the criminal area.
My strong belief is that, in addition to the practical experience I have gained through the years and my solid academic training, in the economy and dynamics of practical reality, the permanent concern for knowledge improving and the real-time monitoring of legislative and jurisprudential news is fundamental, providing an additional element of guarantee that your situation will receive a competent analysis, attentive to details and permanently oriented towards finding optimal solutions.
